Our company is organizing fishing trips to Cyprus and to Norway for groups and individual travelers from A to Z:
Fishing in Cyprus is very interesting and varied, it is allowed all year round in all fresh water reservoirs, specified in the fishing license.
In Cyprus there are more than 25 reservoirs. 15 of them are rather large, among them are Evretou, Dipotamos, Ksilatos, Arminou. Here you can catch a rainbow trout, brown trout, perch, bream, mullet river, silver carp, asp, eel, largemouth bass (bass, imported from the United States at the time), channel catfish.
Fishing is allowed any time a day, except night hours. You can take all fish with you and cook it later.
It is popular to fish for carp and bass in Cyprus. Carp is in all reservoirs of Cyprus and it can be rather heavy, up to 15 kg. The beaches are nice and comfortable for float fishing. White bream is frequently caught; its average weight is 300 g and more. Carp can be caught on the float rod, tackle and bottom baits. Fishermen usually use a spinning for catching bass and a bottom gear for catching perch and eel.
You can catch a fish weighing from 15 to 20 kg.
Sea fishing means tuna, small sharks, octopus and other species of fish and marine life. Maybe, sea fishing is not always very effective, but it is long and interesting.
Spear fishing is very popular in Cyprus too.
Fishing in Norway, the island of Averoy
A giant cod, Atlantic salmon, pollock, haddock, redfish, flounder, mackerel, halibut - this is an incomplete list of what can be caught in the Atlantic Ocean and the rich fjords.
The island of Averoy is connected with the mainland of Central Norway by the Atlantic road, Atlanterhavsveien, the total length of the road is 8.2 km, it passes through 8 bridges, between the towns of Kristiansund and Molde, the two main population centers in the county of Møre og Romsdal in Fjord Norway. The Atlantic Road is at the top of the British newspaper The Guardian's list of the world's best road trips. The Atlantic Road has been awarded the status national tourist route because of the architecture of the road and the bridges, and the incredible coastline it passes through.
The nature of the area is extremely beautiful: majestic mountains, sandy beaches, pretty coves, fjords, mysterious forest lakes, the diversity of the landscape. Fresh ocean air is everywhere.
Fishing is just perfect, a good catch is guaranteed wherever you are fishing. Cod fish species, and of course the Norwegian salmon, can be caught both in the fjords and the sea. Even inexperienced fishermen can show off their catch. Fishing in the sea is free, and fishing in the inland lakes is payable. People use a regular spinning, an elongated spoon, a donk for fishing in Averoy.
This location is perfect destination for a family holiday. We can offer you an specious apartment or a two-storied cottage for rent for the whole family, together with a boat. Besides fishing there are so many other interesting things to do for people of all ages: hiking, cycling, participation in group mountain hikes, picking berries in the woods, cycling, horse riding. There is a popular sky resort in the mountains, which also opens its doors to guests in summer. You can enjoy agroturism, visiting nearby farms and watching the country life, drinking fresh cow-milk. We organize excursions to the farms of Averoy and to the cities of Molde and Kristiansund. You can also visit the Kristiansund water park, the largest covered water park in Norway.
